TITLE: BTICE a new business concept

To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel, is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted - Bill Bryson
Fashion is a language that creates itself in clothes to interpret reality - Karl Lagerfeld
As a recent graduate of Birmingham City university, studying Fashion business & Promotion, I have gained a number of skills in my three years of study. My dissertation, was a critical appraisal of cultural shifts in the Fashion Sector, and how this might affect consumers. Three main threads pulled as areas of interest, from this were: the importance of personalisation to consumers, the potential opportunities for collaboration and the importance of technology to connect consumers. These three foundations, then led on to forming my Final Major Project. My interests for my final major projects new concept, evolved from the three main threads from my dissertation, my love of observing lifestyle trends, and my passion for embracing travel and cultural difference.

BTICE, a new business concept, is about Business Traveller Individual Cultural Experience. The end target consumer for this business is International, Business Travellers and the brand offers an exclusive and personal service for these consumers, in the luxury market. The brand also collaborates with the airline Cathay Pacific and has sponsors from worldwide companies. BTICE targets, five global locations: Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, India and Hong Kong and offers consumers the chance to buy bespoke products through an online app, from these five global destinations, before travelling, for business purposes.

As well as my final major project, where I created and developed a business plan for my new concept, I have enjoyed past modules in trend forecasting and other modules that have incorporated trend analysis. Therefore, I am particularly interested in potential job opportunities in the trend sector.
