A Fashion Branding and Communication student, aspiring to the creative direction and/or visual merchandising sectors.
Creativity and innovation is displayed through various project outcomes. Exploration with a range of creative mediums, such as fashion photography and digital design, allowed creative self-expression and vision. There was considerable attention to areas, or segments, of the projects, such as application of branding, brand aesthetic, layouts, graphic fundamentals and typography, in order to produce visually pleasing outcomes.
A personal strong asset is creativity and the ability to produce strong visual concepts, possessing good knowledge and practice of creative softwares, including Photoshop and InDesign.
brand generation project
The Brand Generation module brief was to identify and diagnose the appropriate development required to create a fashion or lifestyle brand, considering the ethos, identity, social, retail, marketing and promotion channels. The outcome for the project was ‘Sincere’ - an online ethically and sustainably conscious jewellery brand, with a bespoke element.

final major project
‘Form’ is an online publication on the subject of art, fashion, design, devised for the Independent Final Major Project. The target market is the millennial demographic cohort, of innovative individuals, in creative industries. Thorough research of magazine formats, determined that digital format was most suitable and preferable amongst millennials. For each article, images were curated, for the art, fashion and design content.
The digital ‘Capsule Wardrobe Staples’ look-book, displays essential items of clothing, augmented with seasonal pieces. A video accompanies the digital look-book, used for promotion and marketing.

conclusion
The Fashion Branding and Communication course has allowed personal growth and finding the confidence, in order to become a well-informed fashion communicator. For the future, I hope to develop personal skills and expand my creativity, enable to thrive in my chosen career path. With different interests, I plan on exploring these sectors more, through internships, or voluntary work, in discovering my career preference. I will also continue to develop my portfolio, to create a positive first impression with prospective employers, and to showcase relevant skills and my creative abilities.
