Naomi has a keen interest in fashion styling, alongside studying the FBP course a series of photoshoots have been styled by Naomi. Working on these projects has allowed experience within the styling sector as essential skills have been developed and applied including, working towards a brief to create a suitable look for concepts, picking and outsourcing clothes and accessories, assisting on creative direction and collaborating with photographers and models. In the video above you can see an editorial video that was published on Hypebeast online magazine. This particular project captures the conceptions of image and reality with counterfeit luxury designer brands.
“The fictional storylines, characters and locations used in luxury photo shoots create a tempting fantasy of beauty, glamour, desirability and happiness that is associated with these expensive brands.” It focuses on the fact that for many people, the image of fake reality is more important than the truth.”
Culture Capture is a culture based creative event that acknowledges and celebrates multiculturalism. The event, welcome to all, acts as a platform to support upcoming artists and creatives and encourages them to embrace and share their heritage and culture through their work. This concept was created as a part of the final major project module, the slideshow to the left displays a number of pages from the business plan and marketing material for the event. The full business plan contains a detailed explanation of how the event will run, research into the market, the consumer, the operations and finance of the business.
