PROFILE:

(BA) Hons Fashion Business and Promotion Graduate from Birmingham City University, aspiring to secure a role within the events/marketing industry. This course has allowed me to study a wide range of topics such as Events Management, Digital Marketing, PR and Trends Forecasting. Final year studies have also sparked an interest in travel, fitness/well-being and the concept of global co-living.

DISSERTATION:

An extensive study was undertaken through dissertation research which concluded that micro-influencers are the perception of reality that Generation Z are searching for when it comes to marketing and advertising as they are becoming less and less trusting of traditional advertising. The study strengthened the idea that consumer needs and values are changing to become more influenced by smaller, authentic figures who are restoring peer-to-peer dynamic by increasing honest connectivity and niche communities.

FINAL MAJOR PROJECT:

Following on from my dissertation I was keen to further explore threads of community and connectivity, inspiring me to research co-living/co-working concepts. From this my project Roam Together was created, an app which aims to connect like-minded digital nomads, offering accessible fitness and personal well-being support. This exciting new feature will further enhance the Roam co-living/co-working brand harnessing the sense of community amongst residents creating a medium to improve their health and fitness whilst travelling. Roam Together will work by using Roam locations to connect them with the nearest fitness classes, well-being sessions and healthy restaurants including features such as messaging, camera, explore and personalised recommendations.

A business plan, marketing visuals, and mobile app were created in collaboration with industry professionals.
