Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.
Research shows that there is an increasing number of individuals missing or injured whilst participating in extreme sports. To combat this, new and innovative smart materials were used in a premium collection for The North Face, targeting extreme sports athletes and enthusiasts. These included GPS systems and impact protection technologies. A six piece range plan was created alongside a critical path and the business’ financial forecasts. Competitors were scrutinised to ensure that the range was suitable for the market. The collection would be profitable within the first year.
