For my final major project, I developed and branded a new business concept called The Loop Studio as an innovative solution for circular fashion; a service in partnership with The British Fashion Council that educates head offices within the fashion industry on circularity. The Loop Studio evolved in response to the recognition that the fashion industry is operating in almost a complete linear way. And with the negative impacts of this model reaching its limits, a growing need for circular methods has been identified; in order to redesign the framework of fashion and to reduce the amount of damage to the environment. The Loop Studio was designed to cater to this, analysing current fashion trends and showcasing the alternative circular solutions to achieve them. With a main overall objective of, encouraging responsibility and inspiring circular thinking to develop and help evolve the fashion industry to produce circular businesses for the future. A trendbook, website and business plan were generated as key resources to fulfill this ambition.
