Topshop X Periscope is the ideation for a proposed new marketing strategy for Topshop, with the introduction of live streaming platform Periscope as part of Topshop’s permanent social media strategy. The purpose of Periscope X Topshop is to provide Gen Z consumers, the ultimate early adopters of the visual- first culture with interactive communication whilst still allowing the content to be genuine and engaging. The launch of Periscope for Topshop will be an authentic story telling social media platform, for customers who are already avid Topshop fans and to attract new customers through live streaming with a fashion twist.
