Whistles Spring/Summer 21
Understated yet cool, throw on but never throwaway – this is real life fashion.
THIS IS WHISTLES.
An enthusiasm to explore garment details, development and produce final commercial outcomes has paved the way for me in completing my Fashion Design and Garment Technology degree. Gaining an in-depth knowledge in the production cycle from my degree through to my time spent in the fashion industry has enabled me to demonstrate my skills and full potential to my chosen collaboration company, Whistles. Interning with Whistles opened my eyes to what is expected in the fashion industry and has been valuable in my growth as a future Garment Technologist.Whistles prides itself on the quality and longevity. Working alongside the Garment Technology team at Whistles, has given me the skills and passion to collaborate on a 4-piece preview collection for SS21. Epitomising the brands ethos, Quality and Longevity will be at the forefront of the preview collection. Within my time in the fashion industry, I developed an eye for high standards ensuring all products achieved the garment longevity Whistles prides itself on, which continued shaping the outcome of my Final Major Project. Every process of the production cycle will be thoroughly considered from pattern cutting to fabric sourcing and testing, through to the development and manufacturing. Bringing together industry experience at Whistles and degree years will collate to a fully informed and successful collaboration portfolio.
