This project reflects on life as a child when I was growing up, as if you were looking into my childhood scrapbook.
Silhouettes reflect the 90's style with print and colour being extracted from my family photographs and primary imagery
Growing up at the end of the 90's I was always told that my outlook on life was old fashioned, that I was born in the wrong era.As a teenager I did not seem to fit in at school and art soon became my expression. Looking back at old photograph books of my childhood made me realise just how cool growing up in the 90's actually was, pop cultures were ever-growing and personal style was now a way to express your feelings and emotions. This project reflects on life as a child when I was growing up, as if you were looking into my childhood scrapbook.
