Inspired by Anne Frank's diary, I researched into how one seeks a form of escapism for different desires. Influenced by the naivety of Henrik Ibsen's play 'A Doll's House' I explored into 1950s housewives. As a young girl romanticises their future with intense detail, they fail to see the reality of their cocooned life and swaddled in possession until they break free and become their own woman.
